"I’m happy with my new identity of being a clean and sober college student. Thanks to everyone who helped along the way."
Aarun Simpson

I felt like I had lost my identity when I left the Royal Navy. Drinking was a regular occurrence both in and out of service, but once I left it took off even more. By the time I got to THH I was living in Hell. I cannot even begin to describe the state I was in. No dignity, no respect.

I have just started my Level 2 BTECH in Health and Social Care at college fulltime. Compare that to what I was doing the year before being admitted to THH, attendances at A and E, involvement with the police etc…. it is a complete and different world for me now.

I’m happy with my new identity of being a clean and sober college student. Thanks to everyone who helped along the way.
