This December, Tom Harrison House is inviting supporters, friends, families and anyone looking for a challenge to do something a little different for Christmas — take a 160ft leap over Salford Quays and raise vital funds to support our Veterans!
On 5 December 2026, from 2pm onwards, we’ll be heading to Salford Quays, Manchester, for our Christmas Charity Bungee Jump Fundraiser.
Whether you’re an experienced adrenaline seeker or someone looking to step well outside your comfort zone, this is your chance to take on an unforgettable challenge while supporting the work of Tom Harrison House.
And, of course, it wouldn’t be a Christmas fundraiser without a little festive spirit. Christmas fancy dress is strongly encouraged! Santa suits, elves, reindeer, Christmas jumpers or something completely original — we want to see everyone getting involved and making this a brilliant festive occasion.
The Challenge
Participants will take on a 160ft (50 metre) bungee jump at Salford Quays, experiencing the thrill of stepping from the platform and taking the leap.
The event will take place from 2pm onwards, giving our team of fundraisers the opportunity to take on the challenge together and support one another along the way.

Take on a Challenge and Make a Difference
Every person who signs up will be asked to raise a minimum of £250 for Tom Harrison House.
Those funds will help us continue our work supporting Veterans who are experiencing challenges with addiction, mental health and recovery.
At Tom Harrison House, we understand that recovery can require courage, determination and the willingness to take on challenges. Our specialist programmes provide Veterans with the therapeutic support, structure and recovery community they need to make meaningful and lasting changes in their lives.
By taking part in the Christmas Bungee Jump, you won’t just be challenging yourself — you’ll be helping us continue to be there for Veterans when they need our support.
Whether you raise £250 or go well beyond your target, every contribution can help us continue delivering the specialist support our Veterans deserve.
Get Into the Festive Spirit 🎄
We want this to be more than just a fundraising challenge. We want to create a memorable Christmas event for everyone involved.
That means Christmas fancy dress!
You might choose to take the leap dressed as Santa, an elf or a reindeer, or simply pull on your favourite Christmas jumper. However you decide to do it, we want our team of fundraisers to bring plenty of festive spirit to Salford Quays.
Friends and family can also get behind participants by supporting their fundraising, sharing their fundraising pages and coming along to cheer them on.
Imagine standing on the platform overlooking Salford Quays, dressed as Santa, knowing that your friends and family have helped you reach your fundraising target — and then taking that 160ft leap!
It should certainly make for a Christmas memory you won’t forget.
