THH Veterans’ Recovery Roadshows

These roadshows aim to share our experience of creating safe therapeutic spaces that support armed forces beneficiaries to recover from addiction and poor mental health. We want to reach out to all providers of veteran support across our region, which would include organisations, professionals and volunteers across public, statutory and third sector services. In addition, we want them to encourage their service users to attend, as well as any other veterans, struggling with addiction and poor mental health in their communities.

Our roadshows will explain the process of veteran specific treatment and recovery and will include first hand experiences of veterans coming through the process. There will be ample opportunities to ask questions and explore pathways into long term recovery.

We are aiming to deliver a minimum of 15 such roadshows at venues across the North West region to best carry our message. The project will run from January 2025 to June 2026, and we’re aiming for our first roadshow to happen in Liverpool at the end of January next year, venue to be confirmed.
